This test will determine your blood group and is called ABO typing.

There are 4 main blood groups (types of blood) – A, B, AB and O. Your blood group is determined by the genes you inherit from your parents and based on which proteins are on the surface of your red blood cells.

Each group can be either RhD positive (+) or RhD negative (-), which means in total there are 8 blood groups. Blood group O is the most common blood group. Almost half of the UK population (48%) has blood group O.

This service is only available to the age of 13 and above.

During booking, only a £30 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.

Any cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in the loss of the £30 deposit. If you wish to reschedule, a new £30 deposit will be required to secure the new appointment.
