Yellow Fever Vaccine Exemption Certificate

Who is Eligible for Exemption?

If you believe that you should not be vaccinated on medical grounds you can be issued an exemption certificate. An exemption provides entry to countries where a certificate is required on entry. The certificate is only valid for a single trip.


Reasons an individual may be exempt from the yellow fever vaccine include:

  • Individuals aged 60 years and above.

  • Individuals with who are severely immunosuppressed.

  • Experience hypersensitivity (anaphylaxis) to the vaccine.
