EPP Blood Test

Exposure-prone procedures blood test, tests for blood-borne virus infections. Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV are chronic viral infections where the virus is present in the bloodstream. In certain situations in health care, infection can be transmitted from healthcare worker to patient. To avoid any risk to patients, anyone who will be involved in surgery, dentistry and certain other procedures now has to be tested for signs of infection before they can begin such work.

Biomarkers:

HIV-1 & HIV-2/p24 Antigen Test is a rapid blood test used to detect early-stage HIV infection.

Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) is a protein found on the outer coat of the hepatitis B virus (HBV). Its presence in the blood indicates that a person is currently infected with HBV.

Hepatitis C antibodies are proteins produced by the immune system in response to the hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. Detecting these antibodies in the blood can indicate past or current infection.

Syphilis Antibodies (IgG/IgM) are proteins produced by the immune system in response to syphilis infection.

This service is only available to the age of 13 and above.


During booking, only a £30 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.


Any cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in the loss of the £30 deposit. If you wish to reschedule, a new £30 deposit will be required to secure the new appointment.
