Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel

From £799

What is Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel?

Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel is a professional treatment designed to effectively reduce all types of skin pigmentation concerns such as melasma, sun damage, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. It's a world-leading formula that works beyond surface lightening by regulating melanin—the pigment responsible for dark patches.

The treatment combines an in-clinic application of a powerful mask that you wear, followed by a specialised homecare routine. This two-step approach helps exfoliate pigmented skin cells, inhibit melanin production, and prevent new pigmentation from forming.

How does the Cosmelan Peel work?

Cosmelan Peel works by targeting the root cause of dark spots—excess melanin production. It contains powerful ingredients like azelaic and kojic acids that block the enzyme responsible for creating melanin, helping to lighten existing pigmentation and prevent new spots from forming.

During treatment, a special mask is applied that gently peels away the top layer of skin, removing pigmented cells and revealing fresher, brighter skin underneath. Alongside this, the peel regulates pigment-producing cells so that your skin tone evens out over time.

After the clinic treatment, you’ll follow a personalised homecare routine to maintain and enhance results. This dual-action process not only removes visible spots but also helps keep your skin clear, radiant, and evenly toned for the long term.

Who is the Cosmelan Peel Suitable For?

Cosmelan Peel is ideal for anyone struggling with stubborn skin pigmentation such as melasma, sun spots, freckles, and age spots. It works well for all skin types and tones, including darker skin, making it a versatile solution for reducing uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation.

The Cosmelan Process: What to Expect

The Cosmelan Peel combines expert in-clinic treatment with a dedicated homecare routine to deliver lasting results against pigmentation issues.

Treatment Process Overview:

  1. Consultation and Skin Preparation: Your skin is carefully assessed, and your skin will be cleansed and prepped to ensure your skin is ready for the peel.

  2. In-Clinic Treatment: A specially formulated Cosmelan mask is applied by your skincare professional and left on for a set number of hours. This mask penetrates deeply to exfoliate pigmented skin cells and reduce melanin production.

  3. Mask Removal and Early Healing: After several hours, you’ll gently remove the Cosmelan mask at home with lukewarm water. Your skin may feel red, tight, and sensitive — normal signs that the peel is activating skin renewal. As pigmented cells shed through peeling, increased blood flow and cell turnover encourage fresh, healthy skin to form. During this phase, collagen production is stimulated, improving skin texture, while the active ingredients continue to inhibit melanin synthesis, reducing pigmentation at its source.

  4. At-Home Maintenance: Following mask removal, you start a structured skincare routine with supportive products and is crucial to continuing the reduction of pigmentation, promoting healing, and preserving your results. Regular application helps regulate pigment-producing cells and prevents new spots from forming.

The combination of in-clinic precision and at-home consistency ensures you achieve both immediate improvements and long-term control over pigmentation, giving you a confident, glowing complexion.
