Dermatologist Mole Check Service
From £39

Worried About a Mole or Skin Lesion?
If you have noticed a new mole, a change in an existing mole, or a skin lesion that concerns you, our Dermatologist Mole Check Service offers fast access to a consultant dermatology review — without long waiting times.
Rather than waiting weeks for GP referrals or paying high private dermatology fees, you can receive a specialist opinion within 24–48 hours.
How Does the Service Work?
Step 1) In-Clinic Assessment:
A trained member of our clinical team will ask structured questions about your mole or skin lesion and take high-resolution clinical photographs. Detailed dermatoscopic images are taken using a specialist lens to allow enhanced visual assessment of the mole’s features.
Step 2) Consultant Dermatologist Review:
Your images and information are securely submitted to a UK consultant dermatologist via Map My Mole, a recognised teledermatology provider, for specialist assessment.
Step 3) Digital Report Within 48 Hours:
You will receive a written digital report outlining the dermatologist’s assessment, whether the mole appears benign, whether further investigation is recommended, and clear guidance on the appropriate next steps.
Why Should You Get a Mole Checked?
Changes in moles or new skin lesions are common, but it can sometimes be difficult to tell what is normal and what may require further assessment.
You should consider having a mole reviewed if:
A mole has changed in size, shape, or colour
The borders appear irregular or uneven
The colour is varied or becoming darker
The mole becomes itchy, crusted, or starts bleeding
A new lesion appears that looks different from others
Early review of suspicious changes can help ensure that, if further investigation is needed, it happens without unnecessary delay.
Note
This service is for individuals aged 18 and over.
During booking, only a £30 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total service cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.
Any cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in the loss of the £30 deposit. If you wish to reschedule, a new £30 deposit will be required to secure the new appointment.
The cost of the first mole check is £39, If you have more than one mole you are concerned about, any additional moles checked during the same visit are simply an additional £30 each.
