Light & Bright - Skin Tone & Texture Rejuvenation

From £199

Why Skin Tone and Texture can change over time

As skin ages, it’s common to notice changes in both colour and texture. Skin tone may become uneven, with areas of redness or discolouration, while the surface of the skin can start to feel rougher or less smooth than before.

These changes often develop gradually due to sun exposure, environmental factors, and the natural slowing of skin renewal. This treatment focuses on improving these concerns over time, helping the skin look more balanced, refined, and healthier.

Our Technology: The Nordlys™ System

At Epicare Health, this treatment is carried out using the Candela Nordlys™ system, a versatile platform designed to address both skin tone and surface texture concerns.

Depending on your skin and goals, treatment may focus on improving redness and uneven tone using light-based technology, or on refining texture using non-ablative fractional laser resurfacing. Because your skin is unique, treatments are tailored to your skin to ensure the best possible results for you.

Who is This Treatment Suitable For?

This treatment may be suitable for individuals concerned about uneven skin tone, visible redness, or early changes in skin texture.

Because skin concerns vary from person to person, a consultation is always carried out first. This allows your practitioner to assess your skin, confirm suitability, and advise if this treatment is most appropriate for you.

The Treatment Process: What to Expect

  1. Consultation & Assessment: Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your skin and discuss your goals. This helps confirm suitability and ensures the treatment is tailored to you.

  2. Preparation: Before treatment, your practitioner will ensure the skin is ready for the treatment. This step is designed to support both safety and comfort on the area being treated.

  3. During Treatment: You may feel brief warmth or a light snapping sensation as the treatment is delivered. Sensations vary between individuals but are generally short-lived.

  4. After Treatment: Temporary redness or warmth is common and usually settles within a short time. Aftercare advice will be provided to help support your skin following treatment.

How does it work?

Light-based treatment is used to target areas of uneven colour and redness, helping to improve skin clarity and balance over time. Where texture is also a concern, non-ablative fractional laser resurfacing may be used to support gradual skin renewal beneath the surface. This encourages improvements in smoothness and overall skin quality as the skin responds naturally over time.

Expected Results & Timeline

Some people notice early improvements in skin tone or smoothness after the initial session. However, results develop gradually as the skin continues to respond over time.

For best results, a course of treatments is usually recommended, with sessions spaced several weeks apart. The number of sessions needed varies depending on your skin and goals and will be discussed during your consultation.

Note

This service is exclusively for individuals aged 18 and over.

During booking, only a £30 deposit is required for the initial consultation, and patch test where applicable, which will be deducted from the total treatment cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.
