Wrinkles, Fine Lines & Skin Texture

From £189

What is it?

As skin naturally ages, changes in texture, fine lines, and early wrinkles can start to appear. These changes are often linked to a gradual loss of collagen, sun exposure over time, and a slowing of the skin’s natural renewal process.

Rather than being caused by a single issue, uneven texture and fine lines usually develop gradually. Skin may start to feel rougher, look less smooth, or show lines that are more noticeable when the face is at rest. While these changes are a normal part of ageing, many people choose treatment to help improve overall skin quality and smoothness.

Our Technology: The Nordlys™ System

At Epicare Health, treatments for wrinkles, fine lines, and skin texture are carried out using the Candela Nordlys™ system, which includes non-ablative fractional laser technology designed to support skin resurfacing and renewal.

This technology works beneath the surface of the skin to encourage natural skin repair while leaving the top layer intact. Treatments are carefully adjusted based on the area being treated and individual skin characteristics to ensure a controlled and tailored approach.

Who is This Treatment Suitable For?

This treatment may be suitable for individuals looking to improve fine lines, uneven skin texture, or early signs of ageing,  particularly where the skin feels less smooth or refined than before.

As skin concerns vary from person to person, a consultation is always carried out first. This allows your practitioner to assess your skin and advise whether this treatment is appropriate for you, as well as what level of improvement you can expect.

The Treatment Process: What to Expect

  1. Consultation & Assessment:Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your skin and discuss your concerns. This helps confirm suitability and ensures the treatment is tailored to your skin.

  2. Preparation: Before treatment, your practitioner will ensure the skin is ready for laser or light-based treatment. This step is designed to support both safety and comfort on the area being treated.

  3. During Treatment:You may experience warmth or a mild prickling sensation as the treatment is delivered. Sensations vary between individuals and treatment areas, but treatment is generally well tolerated.

  4. After Treatment:Temporary redness or warmth is common and usually settles within a short time. Aftercare advice will be provided to help support your skin following treatment.

How does it work?

This treatment works by gently stimulating the skin’s natural renewal process. The laser delivers controlled energy beneath the surface of the skin, encouraging gradual repair and regeneration over time.

As the skin responds, texture can improve and fine lines may appear softer. The aim of treatment is to support smoother, more even-looking skin through gradual change.

Expected Results & Timeline

Some people notice early improvements in skin texture as the skin begins to respond following treatment. Results continue to develop gradually as the skin renews over the weeks that follow.

For best results, a course of treatments is usually recommended, with sessions spaced several weeks apart. The number of treatments needed varies depending on your skin concerns and how your skin responds, but this will all be discussed during your consultation.

Note

This service is exclusively for individuals aged 18 and over.

During booking, only a £30 deposit is required for the initial consultation, and patch test where applicable, which will be deducted from the total treatment cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.
