At Epicare Health, treatments for wrinkles, fine lines, and skin texture are carried out using the Candela Nordlys™ system, which includes non-ablative fractional laser technology designed to support skin resurfacing and renewal.
This technology works beneath the surface of the skin to encourage natural skin repair while leaving the top layer intact. Treatments are carefully adjusted based on the area being treated and individual skin characteristics to ensure a controlled and tailored approach.

The Treatment Process: What to Expect
Consultation & Assessment:Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your skin and discuss your concerns. This helps confirm suitability and ensures the treatment is tailored to your skin.
Preparation: Before treatment, your practitioner will ensure the skin is ready for laser or light-based treatment. This step is designed to support both safety and comfort on the area being treated.
During Treatment:You may experience warmth or a mild prickling sensation as the treatment is delivered. Sensations vary between individuals and treatment areas, but treatment is generally well tolerated.
After Treatment:Temporary redness or warmth is common and usually settles within a short time. Aftercare advice will be provided to help support your skin following treatment.

For best results, a course of treatments is usually recommended, with sessions spaced several weeks apart. The number of treatments needed varies depending on your skin concerns and how your skin responds, but this will all be discussed during your consultation.

During booking, only a £30 deposit is required for the initial consultation, and patch test where applicable, which will be deducted from the total treatment cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.
Any cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in the loss of the £30 deposit. If you wish to reschedule, a new £30 deposit will be required to secure the new appointment.
