What is LED Light Therapy?

LED (Light Emitting Diode) Light Therapy is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light energy to support the skin’s natural repair and rejuvenation processes.

Different light colours penetrate the skin at varying depths to target concerns such as acne, inflammation, redness, and signs of ageing — all without damaging the skin’s surface. The treatment is painless and requires no downtime.

Our Technology: The Celluma Series

At Epicare Health, we use the Celluma Series, an FDA-cleared, medical-grade LED light therapy system designed for professional clinical use.

The Celluma device is uniquely flexible, allowing it to contour closely to the treatment area for optimal light delivery and enhanced comfort.

Depending on your skin concern, different clinically tested wavelengths can be used:

Blue Light – Commonly used for acne-prone skin
Red Light – Supports collagen production and skin rejuvenation
Near-Infrared Light – Helps calm inflammation and support tissue repair

The Experience: What to expect

Step 1) Consultation & Skin Assessment: Your treatment begins with a consultation to assess your skin concerns, goals, and current skin condition. This allows us to tailor the LED settings and treatment protocol specifically to your skin, ensuring a fully personalised treatment experience.

Step 2) Skin Preparation: The skin is cleansed and prepared to ensure optimal light penetration.

Step 3) LED Light Application: The Celluma panel is positioned comfortably over the treatment area. For the next 30 minutes, you can simply relax. You will feel a soft, soothing warmth, but the process is entirely painless.

Step 4) Post-Treatment Care: There is no downtime. You may return to normal activities immediately.

Note

During booking, only a £30 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total treatment cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.

Any cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in the loss of the £30 deposit. If you wish to reschedule, a new £30 deposit will be required to secure the new appointment.
