Insulin Resistance (Fasting)
Insulin Resistance This test can provide valuable information about how well your body is processing glucose. It can help identify if you're at risk of developing pre-diabetes or diabetes. By detecting insulin resistance early on, you can take proactive steps to make lifestyle changes that can prevent the onset of diabetes and other related health problems. It's an important first step towards maintaining your overall health and well-being.
A fasting glucose test checks your blood sugar levels after not eating for eight hours. A normal level is 99mg/dL or lower. If it's between 100-125mg/dL, you may have insulin resistance but not diabetes. If it's above 126mg/dL, it indicates diabetes.
