The Self-Collection HPV Test is a validated screening test that allows women to self-collect a vaginal sample for Human Papillomavirus (HPV) DNA testing, which is then sent to the laboratory for analysis.

HPV is the primary cause of nearly all cervical cancers. While most HPV infections clear naturally, persistent infection with high-risk HPV types can lead to cervical lesions and, if untreated, cervical cancer. This test detects the presence or absence of high-risk HPV DNA, helping to identify women at increased risk of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer.
