Depigmentation Glow Peel

From £99

What is the Depigmentation Glow Peel?

The chemical peel is one of the oldest cosmetic procedures in the world. Today, chemical peels are widely recognised methods of improving the health and appearance of skin by removing dead skin cells and encouraging new ones to grow.

The Depigmentation Glow Peel is specifically formulated for hyperpigmentation, age spots, sun damage, and dull, tired skin. It uses a superficial mixture of acids to encourage the regeneration of new skin cells, resulting in a brighter complexion, improved skin tone, and a more youthful appearance.

🌿The Science: Our Key Depigmenting Ingredients

This treatment utilises a cutting-edge formula to actively target and reduce pigmentation. The key ingredients include:

  • Glycolic Acid (28%): Derived from sugar cane, it exfoliates the epidermis, creates a mild peeling effect, and stimulates the growth of new skin.

  • Mandelic Acid (7%): Derived from bitter almonds, it has depigmenting properties, inhibits melanin synthesis, exfoliates, and rejuvenates skin.

  • Kojic Acid (5%): Derived from a variety of fungi and organic substances, it is used to diminish dark areas resulting from excessive pigmentation in the skin.

  • Alpha-Arbutin (3%): Acts by reversibly suppressing melanosomal tyrosinase activity, providing a powerful skin-brightening effect.

How does the treatment work?

Step 1) Pre-Treatment Cleanse: We clean the skin thoroughly using CLINICCARE Concentrated Cleansing Foam and remove grease and oils using a skin antiseptic.

Step 2) Peel Application: The active peeling solution is applied evenly across the face, carefully following specific skin lines and facial zones.

Step 3) Active Neutralisation: After 2 to 7 minutes, or when the skin responds, the peel is actively neutralised using a specialised skin toner, and the skin is rinsed completely at least 3 times.

Step 4) Soothe and Cool: A targeted EGF GLOW Mask is applied to the face for 20 to 30 minutes to cool and soothe the skin.

Step 5) Protect: We finish by applying Dermo Corrective SPF50 to provide optimal protection against the sun and support healing.
