If you are unable to attend an appointment at our pharmacy you can book a remote appointment and one of our pharmacist can carry out the service at your home.
Microsuction is the gold standard procedure for removing ear wax which utilises a suction mechanism to clear the wax from the ear canal. Microsuction does not involve the use of water unlike old-fashioned techniques such as irrigation which may risk damaging the eardrum or introducing an infection.
Appointments can be made on short notice however conducting a successful microsuction requires softening of ear wax with olive oil ear drops for at least 7 days. If your ears have not been assessed by a medical professional it would be advisble to book an initial otoscopy first to ensure your wax can be removed in a single appointment.

The minimum age required for microsuction is 16 years old. We are not able to examine younger children.
Furthermore, Any cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours before the appointment will incur a charge of 20% of the total service cost and missed appointments will be deemed non-refundable.
