Bence Jones protein is a paraprotein found in the urine, it is an abnormality found in antibodies due to myeloma. These protein molecules can damage the kidneys as they pass through them from the blood to the urine. Being positive for Bence Jones protein in your urine could be an indication that you have multiple myeloma.
