Objectives of treatment

This treatment is used to reduce the Body Mass Index (BMI) in obese patients (BMI 30+) or in overweight patients (BMI of 27-30) with one or more weight-related co-morbidities.


Who is this treatment available to?

  • Patients between 18 and 65 years of age.

  • Patients with an initial BMI of 30 and over.

  • Patients in which a supervised diet, behaviour modification and increasing physical activity failed to achieve a realistic reduction in weight.

  • Patients with a BMI 28 or greater with associated risk factors, including but not limited to: Hypertension; Dyslipidaemia; Obstructive sleep apnoea; Type 2 diabetes mellitus


This treatment is only available for ages between 18 and 65 years. Booking an appointment or making an enquiry does not guarantee treatment provision. All services are subject to a clinical consultation and suitability assessment with a qualified healthcare professional. Treatment will only proceed if the patient is deemed medically suitable following this assessment.


During booking, only a £30 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total cost. The remaining payment will be collected at a later stage.


Any cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in the loss of the £30 deposit. If you wish to reschedule, a new £30 deposit will be required to secure the new appointment.
